Attending the ceremony were Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council; and Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.

The Khanh Loi industrial cluster project covers a total area of 63 hectares, spanning over Khanh Loi and Khanh Thien communes of Yen Khanh district. It has total registered capital of nearly 700 billion VND (29.4 million USD).

The industrial cluster is located near Day River, in the axis road of Bai Dinh – Kim Son, near National Highway 10 and intersection of Ninh Binh – Hai Phong expressway. It is expected to attract secondary investors and develop production linkages with Khanh Phu and Khanh Cu industrial zones.

Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the provincial People Committee Nguyen Cao Son asked Bao Minh – Khanh Hong Infrastructure Investment and Development JSC to mobilise all workforce, equipment and machines to construct infrastructure in the industrial cluster modernly and synchronically.

The company should strive to complete the project ahead of schedule and coordinate with related units to lure investment, with a focus on projects that apply modern, environmentally-friendly technologies and create high value and great contributions to the state budget, he said.

Son also asked provincial departments, branches, sectors and Yen Khanh district’s administration to continue supporting and creating favourable conditions for the investor to expedite the project, constantly report the progress of construction and take the initiative in promptly addressing arising difficulties.

At the ceremony, the provincial leaders and delegates pressed the buttons to commence the start of the project.
