Province's tourism sector serves nearly 400,000 visitors during National Day holidays

During the National Day holidays from August 31 to September 3, tourist destinations in Ninh Binh province welcomed nearly 400,000 visitors, representing a 67.9% higher than the figure in the same period last year, according to the statistic of Department of Tourism.
A huge number of tourists flock to Hoa Lu Old Quarter.
During the four days holiday, the number of foreign visitors to key tourist destinations increased with 74,000 guests, a year-on-year increase of 276.7%.
The average accommodation occupation rate reached 90%. Particularly, on September 1 and 2, the rate reached over 100%.
The province pocketed nearly 650 billion VND (27,9 million USD) from tourism services, up 182.68% compared to same period in 2023.
In order to serve tourist, tourist destinations and some localities have organised numerous activities, such as Tam Coc food and cuisine festival, music shows in Hoa Lu old quarter, traditional sport and culture festival in Kim Son district….
Although the number of tourists during the holidays was higher than normal days, Ninh Binh Province and other localities have proactively prepare conditions to serve tourists and people to prevent congestion and ensure security, social order, food hygiene and safety and environmental sanitation, bringing satisfaction and good impression for visitors.
